DANVILLE – The Kiwanis Danville July 4th Parade is always an incredible event, attracting over 40,000 attendees, easily making it the largest Independence Day event in the Bay Area. In the past, the parade has featured up to 150 entries, including the Wells Fargo Stagecoach, Concord Blue Devils, Blue Star Moms, Warriors’ Watch Riders and the Tassajara 4-H Club. This year will no doubt be just as exciting, with marching bands, floats, Boy and Girl Scout troops, veterans’ organizations, classic cars and more!
The parade starts at 9am and runs from the corner of Hartz Ave. and Railroad Ave., ending at the corner of San Ramon Valley Blvd. and Sycamore Valley Rd.
Each year, the Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley provides grants from funds raised through parade sponsorships and other special events. To date, over $1,000,000 in grants have been awarded to local community nonprofit organizations.
Make it a family tradition and stake out your spot to witness the best 4th of July celebration in the Bay Area!
