LAFAYETTE – You’re invited to explore this year’s Earth Day Festival’s theme of celebrating Sustainable Youth! Discover opportunities for the youngest in the community to make environmentally friendly choices. Start going “green” by re-considering the items you use for art projects, your transportation options and the snacks you carry with you to parks and sporting events. Finding more sustainable and Earth-friendly alternatives in our daily lives are small decisions that can have a huge impact.

You’ll have the chance to participate in many fun Earth Day activities during the festival, including creating art with recycled materials, learning about renewable energy for your home, practicing bike safety skills and taking a guided creek walk with the Lafayette Creeks Committee.
