Be a Hero, Martina Needs You
PLEASANTON – When you go to a shelter, there is always a story to be heard of an amazing animal that is perplexingly overlooked and passed by. Martina, a two-year-old tortoiseshell cat at the Valley Humane Society in Pleasanton, is that amazing animal. She is playful, adores people, seeks attention and savors human contact. She may even put her paws around your neck and steal some kisses. She enjoys the outdoors and would love having access to an enclosed patio or sunroom.
Martina has lived a majority of her life at the Valley Humane Society. She came from the Fremont animal shelter as a young kitten in December 2014. She was adopted by a family but was returned after several months. The adoptive family lived on a busy street and was concerned for Martina’s safety if she got out. Martina is not a fan of other felines but may get along with them if they let her be in charge, as she did with a kitty companion during her time in a home.
Martina is spayed, micro-chipped and healthy, with all the necessary vaccinations. Martina has no adoption fee and she will go home with a pet store gift card when adopted. If you think that you or someone you know would appreciate Martina, please reach out to the Valley Humane Society for more information.
