SUISUN CITY – At first glance, you get the sense you’re in a sports bar without the bar (although alcoholic beverages are available), after observing the presence of 8 big screen TVs posted throughout. However, this place is family-friendly, bringing traditional American comfort food to Suisun City. They offer appetizers such as mozzarella sticks, nachos, chicken wings, fried zucchini, stuffed mushrooms, onion rings, shrimp skewers, jalapeno poppers, and more.
The lunch menu includes a variety of sandwiches, chicken and fish dishes, burgers, salads, sides, soups, and desserts. After 4pm, they serve pasta and seafood dinners as well as Salisbury steak, meat loaf and tri-tip. I recommend their tasty, slow roasted Pulled Pork Sandwich with garlic fries, large enough to share.

FAIRFIELD – At Cabalen’s Bakeshop and Restaurant you’ll find uniquely Filipino cuisine from the region of Pampanga, as well as other regions of the Philippines. Whether you dine in or take out, they offer a stunning array of tempting dishes all on display under glass for you to contemplate before selecting.
Among the hot entrées you’ll find both familiar and unique dishes including Shanghai Pork Lumpia, Kare Kare, Pancit, Kaldereta, Pork Sisig, Bistek Tagalog, Beef Sinigang, Lechon Kawali, Sarciado Tilapia, and Chicken or Pork Adobo. I loved their chicken with pineapples cooked in coconut milk and highly recommend you try the savory pork with a sweet, savory mushroom sauce. Seriously, after one bite I predict you’ll order extra to take home.

DIXON – A Street Deli & Café is a “home away from home” for many who come in regularly for breakfast and lunch. They simply follow a winning formula: good food, friendly, attentive service, and the willingness to customize any order.
I ordered their signature Ortega Turkey Sandwich, which came with choice of French fries or house-made potato chips They feature daily specials and since it was Thursday, Tri-tip was the special, with your choice of it topping a salad or a
sandwich roll.
They are expanding their service to offer tasty homestyle dinners Friday evenings with dishes like Nani’s Homemade Meatloaf and much more. Beer and wine are available and I suggest you try their Guava- Cranberry Mimosas! Ask about their dessert options, which change regularly.

FAIRFIELD – Not only can you enjoy a tasty, authentic Mediterranean meal, freshly prepared at reasonable prices, you can also browse the market for some rare imported delicacies from places like Lebanon, England, Israel, Jordan, Turkey, Italy, and Greece.
They carry a good variety of baked treats, teas and coffees, international spices, deli meats, dairy items, and more. You’ll find Turnip Pickles, Bulgarian Feta and Moroccan Couscous, for example, alongside Grape Molasses, Baklava and Tahina sauce. For lunch, they serve savory marinated meat and vegetarian sandwiches (shawermas, gyros), Kafta burgers and hot plates such as chicken or lamb kebob, which includes hummus, taboulleh, cucumber-tomato salad, and pita bread.
