Place your holds & pick them up by appointment with Contra Costa County Library’s Front Door Service.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY LIBRARIES – Here’s some good news for library lovers! If you’ve been wanting to pick up books, DVDs or audiobooks, libraries are now offering front door service. All you have to do is place a hold on the items you want to borrow using the online library catalog. You will be notified by text, email or phone that your selections are ready. Schedule a pickup time and then call or text the library staff to alert them once you have arrived. Your items will be placed on a table outside in a bag labeled with your name.
