VACAVILLE – Step into the vibrant world of Bethlehem on the first Christmas night! This interactive event is a thrilling reenactment that brings the bustling town of Bethlehem to life as visitors arrive for Caesar’s census. Indoors, the lively “streets” will be filled with the smell of spices, the sound of blacksmithing and carpentry, and the sight of artisans and food vendors showcasing their incredible talents, offering beautiful handmade soaps, hot soup, beverages and more for purchase.
As you wander through this lively setting, you may encounter Mary and Joseph searching for a place to stay, among other well-known personalities re-enacting the historic events that occurred. Outdoors, get acquainted with animals that frequent the streets of Bethlehem, including a live camel!
