CONCORD – The Japanese Summer Festival is back and better than ever! Join the Diablo Japanese American Club for a day filled with cultural delights, mouthwatering food and fun-filled activities for the whole family.

Kids will have a blast with exciting games while you immerse yourself in the rich Japanese traditions showcased through exhibits and performances. Marvel at the exquisite artistry of Ikebana flower arranging, witness the precision of judo and kendo demonstrations, and be enchanted by the grace of classical Japanese dance.

Indulge your taste buds in an array of delectable treats that will leave you craving for more. From traditional sushi to homemade bake shop items, there’s something to satisfy every craving. Enjoy a scrumptious chicken teriyaki dinner or savor the flavors of the barbecued beef teriyaki skewers. Cool off with refreshing shaved ice or an ice-cold soda or beer.

Worried about parking? There will be convenient free parking at nearby Ygnacio Valley High School with complimentary shuttle service to and from the festival.
