Dixon’s Lambtown Festival is on Saturday & Sunday, October 5 & 6, 2024, beginning at 9am on both days at the Dixon May Fairgrounds.
DIXON – Prepare for the wooliest, wildest weekend of the year at the annual Lambtown Festival! This incredible event will take over the Dixon May Fairgrounds, transforming it into a sheep-lover’s paradise. You’ll be swept up in the excitement of all things sheep, lamb, wool, and fiber arts from arrival.
Wander through rows of colorful vendor stalls, where artisans showcase their handcrafted wool creations. From cozy sweaters to intricate tapestries, you’ll find treasures that make you want to say “baa-bye” to your wallet! But the fun doesn’t stop there – roll up your sleeves and dive into hands-on workshops where you can learn to spin, weave, or felt like a pro.
Wool is making a resurgence in the fashion industry as it’s versatile yet biodegradable, making it a zero-waste alternative to fast fashion. Sheep aid in fire mitigation while improving pasture biodiversity, too. Celebrate all that sheep can do for us and much more!
