National Theatre Live presents “King Lear” at the Bankhead Theater in Livermore on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 2pm.
LIVERMORE – Starring the legendary Sir Ian McKellen, this modern interpretation of Shakespeare’s epic tragedy follows two fathers embroiled in a bitter fight for power. McKellen’s portrayal of the tormented king was filmed live in London’s West End.
